Drake hit 500 weeks on Billboard 200 with “Take Care”.
Drake continues to earn new accolades as the Toronto rap star has now joined Eminem and Kendrick Lamar for a monumental Billboard milestone. Drizzy’s second studio album “Take Care” has now hit 500 weeks on Billboard 200 chart, and it becomes the ninth overall project in history to reach this milestone.

In Hip-Hop, it’s the third project after Eminem’s greatest hits compilation “Curtain Call” with 598 weeks, and Kendrick Lamar’s “Good Kid Maad City” with 517 weeks to reach this number.

“Take Care” was released on n November 15, 2011, through Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Republic Records. The project featured appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Birdman, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, The Weeknd, Rihanna, Andre 3000 and more. The project won Drake his first Grammy Award for Best Rap Album at the 2013 Grammy Awards.
Take Care opened at one on the US Billboard 200, selling 631,000 copies in its first week, marking Drake’s second number-one album. In its first week, the record also dominated the Billboard Rap Albums and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. The album was certified six times platinum for units sold and album-equivalent units of more than six million copies.
