Drake ranked number 1 in the list of most searched hip hop houses.
There’s always a curiosity among fans to know about the lavish lifestyles of their favourite celebrities, especially hip-hop artists, who live their life to the fullest and cash out on expensive jewellery, vehicles as well as mansions. Now according to new research by the confused.com home insurance team, it is revealed that Drake tops the list of most searched rapper homes with his famous Toronto mansion.
In the last year, Drizzy’s Toronto home was searched over a million times on Google. The “God’s Plan” rapper’s house is designed by Canadian architect Ferris Rafauli, and it is 50,000 square feet and boasts an indoor basketball court, marble interior and imposing rooms with 44 foot high ceilings.
He revealed why he spent so much money on his “eye-popping pleasure dome” in a 2020 interview with Architectural Digest. “Because I was building it in my hometown, I wanted the structure to stand firm for 100 years,” he said. “I wanted it to have a monumental scale and feel. It will be one of the things I leave behind, so it had to be timeless and strong.”
