Dr. Dre previewed unreleased music to Diamond D & Xzibit.
We continue getting teasers of the upcoming Dr. Dre long-awaited “Detox” album as more and more fellow artists dropping hints one after another. Recently Grandmaster Flash, the legendary 63-year-old DJ revealed that he was recently invited to Dre’s crib in LA, where he gets to hear the new album. He also said that they both had a 2-hour conversation on various topics, including Music, Family Health, Life, and more. Now Dr. Dre invites another fellow peer, the Bronx producer Diamond D, along with longtime collaborator Xzibit for a listening session.
Since 2015’s Compton, the 56-year-old rap mogul hasn’t released a full studio album, which came 16 years after his critically lauded sophomore LP 2001. Dre has continued to produce for the best talent in recent years, delivering tunes to Anderson. Eminem’s current album, 2020’s Music to Be Murdered By, and Paak’s 2018 project Oxnard.
The 52-year-old DJ shared a picture of him with Dr. Dre in the studio and revealed that Dre played him 2 hours of unreleased music. “@drdre played about 2hrs of straight unreleased heat rocks for me and @xzibit today,” wrote Diamond D.
It looks like Dr. Dre’s inviting others to choose the perfect material for his highly anticipated upcoming album, rumored to be long-awaited “Detox”.
