Doja Cat teases her next album.
Doja Cat took to her Twitter and revealed that she would no longer make pop music. The 27-year-old’s music is known for a mixture of hip-hop, pop & R&B, but she now decided to focus on making her raps better.
“no more pop,” she wrote. “i also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny,” she continued. “I know they are. I wasnt trying to prove anything I just enjoy making music but I’m getting tired of hearing yall say that i can’t so I will.” “pop isnt exciting to me anymore. I dont wanna make it,” she responded to a fan.

Doja continued to joke that her next album is no longer called “Hellmouth”, as it will be “Moist Holes”. Previously, Doja Cat stated that her next project will be inspired by Rave Culture, and on another occasion, she said it will be straight R&B no rap at all.
The whole album is no longer rap yall its rock/spoken word and the album title is not Hellmouth anymore.

During a recent conversation with Variety, Doja Cat discussed her upcoming fourth studio album, Hellmouth, and disclosed that she is embracing a “more masculine direction” in her music, in light of the success of her 2021 album Planet Her. “I know that I’ve done a lot of pink and soft things, a lot of pop and glittery sounds,” she said. “But for this next era, I’m going in a more masculine direction.”
The forthcoming project will be a follow-up to her last year’s third studio album “Planet Her“. The album featured Young Thug, The Weeknd, JID, SZA, Ariana Grande and more. The project received eight nominations at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards and won the trophy for SZA collab “Kiss Me More” in the “Best Collaboration” category.
