DJ Khaled praises JID’s new album “The Forever Story”.
This past week, JID and DJ Khaled were head to head as they dropped their new studio albums “The Forever Story” and “GOD DID“. DJ Khaled’s 13th studio effort which featured some of the top names in the industry, is expected to take the top spot on Billboard 200.
Both of them were at the 2022 MTV VMAs which were held at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey last night. When the Dreamville rapper was giving an interview on the red carpet, Khaled interrupted and congratulate him on the new project. “Congratulations on your album, congrats,” says Khaled. “Likewise,” responds JID. “Thank you brother,” says Khaled. “You beat me,” says JID.
“No, it’s not about that, it’s not about that. You have a beautiful album, congratulations. Keep going, Don’t stop, I’m a fan,” said Khaled. “Let Me get on the next one,” says JID. “Yeah, that’s right. His family, his whole team, my brothers. Love you brother. Keep winning all right.”

It is unknown if the first week of sales for The Forever Story, which features the 31-year-old Atlanta rapper, will be sufficient to position him in the top 10. The album is predicted to sell between 27K and 30K copies.
