Diddy reveals new album “The Love Album: Off The Grid” release date.
Diddy makes his return as he officially announces his long-awaited fifth solo studio project “The Love Album: Off The Grid”. The album was supposed to drop back in 2021, but it got pushed back. This will be his first album in over 17 years and a follow-up to 2006 “Press Play“.
The Bad Boy mogul revealed that the album with drop next month on September 15th. “I present to you my new album. The Love Album: Off The Grid. September 15, 2023 R&B is alive! LOVE,” he wrote.
“Why am I doing this? Especially with the success that I’ve had, especially where my life is, how stressful this music industry is, why would I come back in here and have to do something that I don’t have to do? My heart has been broken, I still get that question, If I am gonna love again,” he said in the trailer.
“I had to go off the grid to really lock in. I’m so addicted to my phone, so addicted to my work, so addicted to the bullsh-t,” he added. “Right now, I’m on the edge, and it’s just too much going on that’s unnecessary. You can’t do it all.”
The album trailer teased some new music and featured appearances from Justin Bieber, Swae Lee, 21 Savage, The Weeknd, French Montana, Mary J. Blige, Babyface, DJ Khaled and more.
