DaBaby claims he slept with Megan Thee Stallion on his new album.
DaBaby was away from controversy for a few months, but he now brought some with his brand-new project. The North Carolina rapper released his new surprise album “Baby On Baby 2”, a sequel to his 2019’s project, and the first solo album since 2020’s “Blame It On Baby“.
Among other songs in the 14 record tracklist, the one that is making headlines is “Boogeyman”, where DaBaby claims to have slept with Megan Thee Stallion multiple times before the Tory Lanez incident.
“You play with me that sh*t was childish / The day before she said that Tory Lanez shot her, I was f**kin on Megan Thee Stallion,” he raps, referencing Tory Lanez shooting her in LA on July 12, 2020.
The “Rockstar” MC seems to be referencing his June 2021 altercation with MTS and her partner Pardison Fontaine in the second verse. After Megan called DaBaby out for retweeting a joke about Lanez allegedly shooting MTS and sharing a track with the Canadian in a song called “SKAT,” the two engaged in a Twitter argument.
When DaBaby invited Lanez to play “SKAT” during his Rolling Loud Miami show in July 2021 after he had just played with MTS, it seemed that the conflict between the two was intensifying.
“Waited to say that sh*t on my next album / Hit it the day before too / But I kept it player, I ain’t say nothing ’bout it / Had her pretty boy, boyfriend tweeting me, ready to die ’bout the bi**h like a coward / I told you ni**as don’t play, now you gone have to handle me / I poked the muthaf**kin bear, I’m a animal.”
