DaBaby shot the trespasser in him on the leg outside his house
Reports surfaced earlier today that a bullet was fired at DaBaby’s North Carolina home and that he was present at the time.
Troutman Police officers arrived at the rapper’s house on Stillwater Road at 7:45 p.m. on April 14th after receiving a report of a gunshot. Troutman Police Chief Josh Watson told The Charlotte Observer that when police arrived, they discovered a victim with a gunshot wound to their “lower extremities.”
According to Watson, DaBaby was inside the house at the time of the occurrence, and the guy was shot on the football field outside the house. The identity of the wounded person was not divulged.
According to TMZ, which cites law enforcement sources, DaBaby shot the intruder. Before shooting the man in the leg, the rapper apparently exchanged words with him. DaBaby then dialed 911 and assisted the police.
WSOC TV reports that someone called 911 and told the dispatcher, “I shot him in his leg.”
“OK. And why did you do that?” the dispatcher asked. “He’s trespassing on my property,” the man told the dispatcher. “(Inaudible) about my name. I don’t know what he’s here for. What he’s here to take. What he’s here to do. He’s neutralized until you guys get here.”
