The Atlanta artist who was given an honorary doctorate degree in humanitarianism from Global Alliance International University had a conversation with KTLA morning news, where he credits his music for the honor. “I think what I’ve been able to accomplish over my 30-year career is a lot of love and generosity and being an all-around good person,” he said.
He was also asked about how his collaboration with Eminem came together. “Me and Eminem have been friends for years, I’ve longed for an opportunity to work with him,” Green said. “He said ‘hey man can you do this for me? I need it really quickly, I need it tonight.’ So when Eminem says he needs something tonight, you deliver.”
The full soundtrack will release along with the movie on June 24th, with music from Denzel Curry, Doja Cat, Jazmine Sullivan, Nardo Wick, Swae Lee, Diplo, Tame Impala and more.
The film “Elvis” will have its international debut on May 25, 2022, at the Cannes Film Festival, and will be released theatrically in Australia on June 22, 2022, by Roadshow Films, and in the United States on June 24, 2022, by Warner.
