Cardi B will not drop her new album this year.
There were reports that Cardi B would finally release her long-awaited new album in 2024, but the rapper herself revealed she will take more time off before dropping the project.
In a deleted tweet, Cardi B states that she will relax this year. “Exactly and I tell myself this all the time..and I hate that I fall back and start interacting again and it bites me in the ass…” Cardi replied to a fan saying she should take a break from social media. “anyway NO album this year I don’t care I’m relaxing this year.. Dropping these features I already committed to and traveling and enjoying my summer.”

The fans have been waiting for the new Cardi B, as it’s been six years since she put out her debut and only album “Invasion of Privacy” in 2018. The album topped the US Billboard 200 with 255,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. It is currently 4x Platinum in the United States.
Just recently, she gave a taste of what comes next with two releases “Like What (Freestyle)” and “Enough (Miami)“.
