Bizarre shares a throwback D12 video, feat Eminem and Proof.
Bizarre, who was one of the members of the D12 band, shares a throwback video of his with fellow band members Eminem and Proof. In the video, Shady and Proof introduce themselves with each other names, and Bizarre, who wasn’t ready for the video, introduces himself as Dirty Harry.
D12 (an abbreviation for the Dirty Dozen) was a Detroit, Michigan-based hip-hop group. With its lineup of de facto leader Eminem, Proof, Bizarre, Mr. Porter, Kuniva, and Swifty McVay, the group reached mainstream recognition in 1996.
Since Eminem’s absence in 2006 and the death of Proof, the group has been less active in recent years. On August 31, 2018, Eminem announced the disbandment of D12 with the song “Stepping Stone” off his tenth studio album Kamikaze (2018).
On Dirty Glove Bastard, Bizarre had a “Off The Porch” interview with Mikala Horne. Biz broke down the different miles of Detroit, his upbringing growing up in 7 Mile, his childhood tale of getting slapped in the face, leaping from the porch at the age of 18, how he has navigated his life and learned how to move cautiously, and his opinions on the younger generation during the talk.
“Back in the days, it was like ‘white man can’t jump.’ That’s the best way I can describe. It was always like ‘man who is this white boy? but once Eminem opened his mouth and started rapping they were like ‘ohh, s**t, this white boy nice.’ So people who knew he was nice there was no doubt about it but we were always constantly going to new environments, so when we were going to new environment, I already kinda knew ‘alright there’s going to be some bulls**t’ and then when Em opened his mouth and before he even finished his verse, there was already believers, so yeah, there were lots of doubters cause Detroit is 90% black city. Lots of ni**as bet money cause they thought they gonna be able to beat Eminem in battle.” said the D12 emcee.
