Benny the Butcher is prepping the release of his new studio album “Tana Talk 4”, which is set to hit streaming services this Friday, March 11th. The Griselda rapper is on the promo run and made a return to the LA Leakers show on Power 106 with DJ Sourmilk and Justin Credible. In the short freestyle, the rapper slides over DMX’s “Ni***z Done Started Something”
“This time around this street sh*t gon’ get some label support / Thankful for legends for paved the way but ain’t get awards, ‘cuz every hustler at the table, done took some game form New York,” he raps.
The new album will be laced with the previously released single “Johnny P’s Caddy” with J. Cole.
Benny’s interview with Ebro takes place as he prepares to release Tana Talk 4 on Friday (March 11). On Tuesday (March 8), Benny debuted the album’s cover image, which is an oil painting of Benny, Westside Gunn, and his late brother Machine Gun Black. “It just don’t get no more authentic than this,” Benny wrote alongside the cover. “Art by @itsmariel, a painting of MGB ME & @westsidegunn I BEEN makin classic music but it’s more to it than that. This shit about Levels, real ni**as Power & Connections. I can feel the streets rootin for me it’s drowning out all the haters.”
