The new song “From the D 2 the LBC” by Snoop Dogg and Eminem, which is followed by a largely animated visual of Bored Ape, astonished fans on Friday.
Last Friday, during ApeFest 2022, an annual event for members of the Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) and the BAYC, Eminem and Snoop Dogg made the live stage debut of their brand-new song, “From the D 2 The LBC.” Lil Wayne, Lil Baby, Future, LCD Soundsystem, Haim, and other artistic performers performed at the exclusive festival in New York.

Rappers put on a show for their hometowns on the tune by spewing their rhymes at a high pace. The gritty song and accompanying James Larese-directed music video were both published, and the two make references to their enthusiasm for the NFT industry. The speedily footage fits nicely with the rapidfire delivery and alternates between clips of the musician performing and taking on animated avatars resembling Bored Apes.
Data from CoinGecko shows that ApeCoin, the well-known NFT collection’s native Ethereum currency, increased by almost 22 percent overnight. The coin’s value was $4.92 as of this writing, down marginally from its $5.26 morning high. The price of ApeCoin has increased by almost 35% in the past week.
Eminem paid 123.45 ETH (about USD $452,000) for his Bored Ape at the end of the previous year. Shady Holdings, his OpenSea account, shows 26 more NFT transactions.
The music video had more than 9 million views over the weekend while trending on YouTube.
