50 Cent’s classic “In Da Club” has hit the 1 billion mark on Spotify, and it becomes his first song to reach this milestone. The song was released in 2003 as part of his debut studio album “Get Rich or Die Tryin” as the lead single and peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100.

The song is regarded as the best track by the rapper, and it was nominated for Best Male Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Song at the 46th Grammy Awards. The official music video, which currently has 1.6 billion views on Youtube, won the Best Rap Video and Best New Artist at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.
“You ain’t gonna believe this one but 18 years ago today I dropped a song I recorded in LA and it’s still spinning 1,000 times a week at radio. I tell @eminem I love him for what he did for me, he put me on.” he said last year on song’s 18th anniversary.
