50 Cent says it would be fun to work with Nicki Minaj in a romantic comedy.
50 Cent is currently on the promo run for his new STARZ show “Black Mafia Family” which telecasted its first episode this past weekend. The show which breaks premiere records on the STARZ network is already renewed for season 2 by the channel. 50 Cent made an appearance on the “Jalen Rose: Renaissance Man” podcast for a new interview where he talks about his role as Executive Producer on his new “BMF” show.
The host also asked Fifty if he would have to star in a romantic comedy, and who would he wanna do a love scene with. “A romantic comedy…Damn. You know probably would be fun to have, to work with, is Nicki [Minaj]. Nicki Minaj would be fun to be in a romantic comedy. I kind of understand her a little bit more than the other people. She’s tougher… when she’s being an a**hole because she’s telling you you’re not gonna take advantage of her,” says 50 Cent.
It’s not the first time 50 has shown his admiration for Nicki. Last year, 50 praised Nicki for being an outspoken “alpha female” during an interview with Lil Wayne on Young Money Radio. “I love me some Nicki. This n***a actually happens to come from my neighborhood. It happens to be a girl, but that n***a is tough.” he said. “She be harder than the n***a she f**k with. She be harder and she’s an alpha female! That motherf**ker tough! You see what I’m saying, son? You got to watch her or she’ll go–she’ll do something that’s pulling a move to assert herself.”
Recently, 50 Cent also teamed up with Snoop Dogg, Moneybagg Yo, and Charlie Wilson for the “BMF” theme song “Wish Me Luck“.
