50 Cent puts Eminem above Jay-Z.
Just recently, Jamal Crawford made an appearance on Shaquille O’Neal’s The Big Podcast, where they discussed rap music, and the former NBA sixth man of the year stated that Jay-Z had a more significant impact on hip-hop than Eminem.
“That’s why my five, the dominance outweighs the number,” Crawford explained to Shaq. “Like, JAY-Z’s effect on Hip Hop is bigger than any album sales that Eminem will have, you see what I’m saying? That’s just how it goes.”
Now the discussion caught the attention of 50 Cent, who commented under an Instagram post: “Ha bullsh*t”.

50 Cent recently teased a possible TV show based on Eminem’s hit movie ‘8 Mile’. “I’m gonna bring his 8 Mile to television,” he said. “We’re in motion. “It’s gonna be big. I ain’t got no duds. I’m battin’ a hundred, I’m battin’ a hundred.” “I think it should be there for his legacy, because if you don’t see… it’s important to me that they understand it, you know what I mean?”
The Detroit rapper’s significance is something that 50 Cent has always been believed in. He claimed that the Em doesn’t receive the recognition he merits in a 2022 October conversation with Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning. “I think part of Eminem’s legacy is the growth of our culture. People wouldn’t buy it if they didn’t see where they fit into it. And he’s there and he’s a legitimate artist because of his journey,” he said.
