50 Cent’s “Get Rich Or Die Tryin'” turns 20.

It’s been 20 years since 50 Cent dropped his major debut studio album “Get Rich or Die Tryin” through Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records. The album debuted at number 1 on Billboard 200 with sales of over 872k in its first week. The album’s singles also saw worldwide success, with both “In da Club” and “21 Questions” reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

50 Cent’s album “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” continues to be his most successful one, with 9 million copies certified sold in the United States. It holds the distinction of being the 10th best-selling hip-hop album in the country. In recognition of its massive success, the album was awarded 6x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 2003, signifying its shipment of six million copies in the US alone. Furthermore, in 2003, “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” was declared the number-one album of the year on the Billboard 200 chart.
