21 Savage makes a bold claim about his 2016 freshman class lineup.
21 Savage recently teamed up with Drake for a new joint album “Her Loss“, and the rapper received praise from fans and critics. The London born hopped on to Social Media App clubhouse, where a conversation about a Verzuz battle started.
Savage then claimed that nobody in his 2016 Freshman Class could beat him. “That Freshman cover, nobody can beat me, nobody,” the rapper states.
The list included rappers like Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, Kodak Black, Denzel Curry, G Herbo, Dave East, Desiigner, Anderson .Paak and Lil Dicky. “So you could beat Lil Uzi?” he was asked, to which he said, “Hell yeah.” Additionally, as members in the Clubhouse conversation began to identify names, they became aware of how packed it was. “Kodak the only one that could really be competition,” one caller said.

After Savage’s claim, Kodak Black took to IG live and called it cap. “I admire your confidence though,” he said. “That’s how you should feel. You know I’m always going to put myself first though, over any ni**a, any day. But, that’s cap.”

Nevertheless, not every one of these artists has a joint project with as strong of a Drake approval. About 335,000 and 350,000 copies of Her Loss are anticipated to be sold within the first week. The album had over 150 million streaming on its first day in the United States alone, and by the end of the week, up to 450 million streams are anticipated. Drake also included a number of disses, jabs, and subliminal messages on the album. He reportedly directed Serena Williams’ husband, Ye a.k.a. Kanye West, Megan Thee Stallion, and other people.
