December 21st is to be known as “21 Savage Day” in Georgia.
21 Savage is ending his successful year on a great note as he is honoured with his own day in the state of Georgia. As per TMZ, The 21st of December will now be known as “21 Savage Day” to celebrate the rapper’s legacy and humanitarian efforts.
He was recognized after his Leading By Example Foundation held their 4th annual holiday Grant-A-Wish event, where 100 families received gifts and snacks for the holidays.
The rapper was acknowledged by state representative Billy Mitchell, who honoured 21 Savage for his efforts through his “21 Savage Bank Account” campaign to create social awareness around financial literacy. Savage granted 21 scholarships by opening 21 bank accounts of $1k each for students.
21 emphasized the significance of giving children the essential skills to attain future objectives during a previous interview with Black Upstart CEO Kezia Williams: “I was determined to remove barriers for the next generation of Atlanta because my success is shared with my community who consistently support and inspire me.”
Just recently, 21 Savage earned his third number 1 debut album on Billboard 200 with his collab effort “Her Loss” with Drake.
