Youtuber Jesse Wellens Suggests That Eminem Is Scared Of Cancel Culture

Jesse Wellens was supposed to direct the video for Eminem & Snoop Dogg’s “From The D To The LBC”.

Youtube Jesse Wellens was the latest guest on Roman Atwood Podcast, where the famous prankster revealed that he was supposed to direct to the music video for Eminem and Snoop Dogg’s recent collaboration “From The D To The LBC” but it didn’t happen. He revealed that he wanted Eminem to cancel the cancel culture, but he was scared.

“I was supposed to do that Eminem and Snoop video,” he said at the 54:30 minute mark. “If you saw that song, they did a record together. That one fell through though, unfortunately. I was close. I talked to Eminem on the phone, It was crazy. We talked about the Secret Services, he’s like ‘yeah, they showed up to me too.’ I was like ‘I’m talking to Eminem. This is crazy.’ He said some sh*t too and he said the Secret Service pulled up on him.”

He continued, “Yeah, and then I pitched him this idea for the video because I’m like pushing the limit. I was like ‘I got Eminem now, this is going big.’ And I was like ‘Eminem, I want you to cancel, Cancel Culture.’ And he was like ‘I’m not touching it.’ I’m like ‘F**k.’ Then I was like bro ‘There is only one person that can cancel ‘Cancel Culture’ and that’s you.’ He was like ‘No, I’m not doing it.'”

Wellens then shares details of the whole plot for the music video. “The video was so epic. I wrote the treatment. It was basically like, he’s his Slim Shady character, like the Jason with a hockey mask and the chainsaw he bust into like a cabin and it’s a bunch of Tiktokers and you know, people these time, vaping, TikTok dancing, ring lights. All the stereotypical sh*t that, everyone’s on the phone. Bust into that with a chainsaw, cuts off someone’s arm, they are spraying blood. And all the TikTok people are like ‘ohh sh*t’ and then he grabs his severed arm that’s holding his phone and starts filming himself. He’s into it cause it’s content. And then he just starting murdering TickTok people. But they are not scared of it. They all think it’s content and they all love it and they are filming it. Think of it like an old-school Jason horror film. That’s the way I wanted to shoot it. And then when eventually the story progresses, and then they are like ‘You know, this video is going too far, cancel Eminem.’ Like, they are trying to cancel him inside the video. So it’d be very meta. It would’ve been so dope. But he [Eminem] was not into it. I get it though. People are scared of the cancel culture. It’s serious. Look at the Kanye West stuff going on.”

The idea that Eminem fears cancel culture is ludicrous. It’s possible that he avoids people with poor judgment who express their problems via persons who are larger than life. Racial inequity, deceit, militarization, religious fanatism, the se*ualization of culture, governmental monitoring, and other topics have all been tackled by Marshall.

Previously, TikTok tried to Cancel Eminem over his violent lyrics in the past. Charlamagne Tha God explained why it will never work. “Tik Tok tryna cancel Eminem,” says Charlamagne Tha God. “I think it’s funny as f**k when kids go back to eras that they shouldn’t even be playing around in that box. If you were talking to a child, you’ll be like ‘yo don’t go in that 90’s box. They’re just playing old Eminem lyrics and doing what outrage culture does, trying to build a case against Eminem. But I’m gonna tell you why that will never work, that’s Eminem’s whole stick.”

“It’s tricky man because if you go back and listen to some Eminem songs or even like some skits. Eminem was one of the wildest people in history bro,” says Andrew Schulz.

“Eminem was the reason we thought we could get away with that type of sh*t, Charlmagane Continued. “In the era we grew up in, there’s a bar. It’s crazy but the funny part is just listening to kids be upset, you’re not gonna build a case against Eminem. Because all the people who have the power to cancel, whatever the f**k that means, they grew up loving Eminem too. Eminem was one of the biggest stars in the world, at one point the biggest star. He was everybody’s guilty pleasure. I never was a fan, like I respected him as a lyricist but I never was a die-hard Eminem fan but he has a lot of die-hard fans.”
