YBN Nahmir reveals there’s no issue with Cordae.
There have been rumours that YBN Nahmir and Cordae are no longer on good terms, but the Young Boss Ni**a co-founder debunked all the talks. In a new interview with HipHopDX, Nahmir revealed that he often talks to the “The Lost Boy” rapper.
“Cordae just called my mom yesterday,” Nahmir said. “He told my mom to send the address to him. So he gone do one of the pop ups. Cordae be busy. I’ma be like, ‘What the f**k is you doing here Cordae?’ type sh*t. I already know how he is.”
He continued: “But yeah, everybody on a good stretch. Everybody got a good plan for themselves. And everybody on the same path of winning. We talked like two weeks ago. I talk to Cordae a lot. Well, not like a lot but when it’s time to talk to Cordae.”
In a previous interview, Cordae revealed why he dropped YBN from his name. “I remember when I dropped YBN,” he said. “It wasn’t a popular thing at the time. I was gettin’ killed online. And I got tough skin, like, this just what come with the game. I don’t be trippin’ off anything. I can’t be talkin’ to kids about ownership and all of this you know when we pushin’ this brand that we don’t even own.”
“Obviously, it goes without saying, it ain’t nothin’ against Nahmir and Jay. Before I came to the conclusion that I was gon’ drop the three letters, I called Nahmir and I asked for his blessing. That was what was most important to me, I don’t care what anybody else thinks. I got forever eternal gratefulness and appreciation of that dude.”
