50 Cent reveals there could’ve been a joint tour with Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre.
50 Cent, who is currently on the promo run for the new season of his show POWER, made a visit to Big Boy’s Neighborhood show. On the show, 50 Cent revealed that there was once a planned tour with Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre but it was scrapped because Eminem wasn’t interested as he wanted to spend more time with his daughter.
When asked about his friendship with Eminem, who was instrumental in 50’s rise to fame, Fiddy recalled a missed opportunity. Em was worried about missing out on his daughter Hailie’s life, he explained.
“We could’ve went on tour. Me, Em, Dre, Snoop,” said 50 around the 30:10 mark in the interview. “You do not believe how much money we would’ve made. And Em was like… there was so many dates at the time that we laid it out that he was like ‘I just don’t want to go on tour and come and Hailie’s grown.‘”
The initial plan included a “ridiculous amount of dates,” according to 50. Indeed, he claimed that the run would have made so much money that “when you come back, everyone has the money and no one has to answer the phone.”
Big Boy pressed him for the figure, and he finally admitted the tour was worth “over $100 million collectively.” The Power mogul also discusses the backlash to his song “Big Rich Town,” his social media antics, and, of course, Rick Ross, in the nearly 60-minute interview.
