Drake lost $275k in Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal UFC 272 main event.
Drake has been pouring a lot of money on online and real-life sports, and the rapper recently decided to bet a quarter-million-dollar on UFC 272 main event. The rapper reported bet a massive $275,000 on Jorge Masvidal, in his UFC match against Colby Covington. However, things didn’t go well for Drake and Masvidal, after Covington came out victorious in a unanimous decision.

After winning the fight, Colby Covington also addressed Drizzy betting against him in a press conference and told the rapper to go back to his “shi*ty” album and rapping. “Let’s talk about all the money that Drake lost tonight,” he said. “He needs to go back to, you know, selling those shi**y albums to get back the money. He should have went to America’s Pick of the Week by mybookie. I tried to give the people the pick of the week. I’m America’s champ, and I was America’s pick of the week. Drake, you s**k at sports betting. Go back to your shi**y little albums and rapping.”
If Masvidal had won, Drake would have received $1 million, but losing $275,000 is nothing when you recently acquired a $70 million estate. Drake’s frequent gambling wins encouraged him to team up with Stake, a Bitcoin casino and sports betting startup, for a live betting event that would take place at a later date. Drake will give up all of his gains to followers as part of the move, which has a humanitarian bent.
