Ty Dolla Sign reacts to criticism for working with Kanye West.
Ty Dolla Sign shows support for Kanye West and explained why he has no problem working with the controversial rapper. In a new interview with Billboard, Ty says he doesn’t care about what other thinks of him over his collab with Ye.
“Ye is the best artist of this generation, besides me, and I don’t give a f–k about what people were talking about,” Ty Dolla says. “I know my ni–a. He’s one of the best people I’ve ever met.”
“Just with my analysis of how it goes with him, he goes all the way to the top,” he added. “And something may happen and he’ll say [something people find offensive]… and then people [get] right back, you know. Because this sh-t is undeniable.”
Earlier this year, Ty Dolla Sign and Kanye West teamed up for a new collab album “Vultures” which debuted at number 1 on the US Billboard 200. It was volume one, and the two were supposed to drop two more volumes in March but it got pushed back for unknown reasons. The album’s single “Carnival” also peaked at #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
