T-Pain Says Tupac Would've Been Ate The Fk Up Lyrically If He Was Alive Today

T-Pain claims Tupac’s greatest lyrics are peanuts to what we hear today.

T-Pain and DJ Akademiks had a Twitch live session recently, where they talked about the legendary Tupac. Ak brought up 2Pac and Biggie’s beef and imagines how interesting it would’ve been if social media existed at that time.

The rapper then made a statement which had the internet divided. “I feel like, and I’m not gon’ lie to you, this gon’ be some bullsh*t,” T-Pain said. “‘Pac would’ve gotten killed sooner [if social media existed] and he would’ve gotten his ass ate the f**k up lyrically.” “Whoa, whoa, whoa. What!?” responds Akademiks.

“Lyricism wise, ‘Pac would’ve got ridiculously murdered. Bro, ‘Pac was a crazy lyricist in our time because ain’t nobody else have no platform. If the platforms are what they are now, ’Pac would’ve got ate the f**k up … What we look at as ’Pac’s greatest lyrics right now is peanuts to what we hear today.”

He continued, “’Pac is a full f**kin’ poet. ’Pac was one, if not the, one of the greatest lyricists at the time. But if we would’ve had social media back then and everybody would’ve had their opinion, there would’ve been way the f**k more disrespectful ni**as at the time. Ni**as would’ve been dying to be more disrespectful than ’Pac.”

T-Pain alleged Akon deployed his brother Bu as a body double, pretending to be the singer while lip-syncing lyrics onstage. Meanwhile, Akon will perform in a different location, according to Pain.

T- Pain’s statement of course, infuriated supporters of the late, great Tupac Shakur. T-Pain swiftly became public enemy number one, according to an Instagram post published by The Art of Dialogue. “T-Pain hella washed for the last 10 years. Biggie wouldn’t even respond. That says enough.” Another person said, “Don’t act like lyrics don’t come better with time. From Me against the world to Makaveli every album got better lyrically. Get your mind right.”
