Styles P praise The Notorious B.I.G. in new interview.
The legendary Notorious B.I.G. died around 25 years ago, but he’s still a part of constant discussions of the greatest hip-hop artists. While it’s a debate for most between Tupac and Biggie, Styles P has crowned the Brooklyn emcee the greatest rapper.
“What makes him the greatest [is] he was really great in all aspects of rhyming,” said Styles P in new interview with Creators Club. “Most people are good in two categories, maybe three if you’re pushing it. Big was really, really nice in all categories.”
He continued, “But what really topped it off was he was a charismatic individual, but he was very f**king classy and G at the same time. So he ain’t just treat me, Kiss, and Louch good. He treated all of our homeboys good.”
Styles P To Retire From Solo Career Next Year After Releasing Two More Albums
Styles P has declared Notorious Big the G.O.A.T. many times. Last year, during a visit on The Big Face Gary Show, the “Good Times” MC discussed his appreciation for Christopher Wallace, whom he placed higher than JAY-Z and many others. “Big wins on the evolution tip,” he said. “Big’s second album was global. Do you understand what I’m sayin’? Global. He hit a different chamber and level to even have the audacity to say my second one is gonna be my second and third one.”
