Machine Gun Kelly talks about his beef with Eminem with Howard Stern.
Machine Gun Kelly is all set to release his new album ‘Tickets To My Downfall‘ tomorrow, which is a follow-up to his last year’s ‘Hotel Diablo‘ project. Machine Gun spewed it all over the place during an on-air interview with Howard Stern, talking about anything from love to buddies to foes to modifying his sound. The Cleveland native is releasing his fifth studio album, Tickets to My Downfall, which features a new musical direction for him. The previous four albums of MGK might be classified as hip-hop. The new album has a pop-punk sound to it. Yes, there are critics. Kelly is unconcerned. For the promo run, Machine Gun Kelly made his debut on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show where he also talked about his feud with Eminem.
Howard Stern says, “I know your feud with Eminem, was Eminem a hero to you because the guy’s a great rapper.”
“Yeah, for sure“, replies Kelly.
“Does It personally pain you that you have this f**king feud with this guy?” asks Stern.
“I don’t feel any type of way about it,” says MGK. “I mean I’m like asleep on my tour bus and this f**king guy drops an album (Kamikaze) with like three songs consecutively talking about me. What the f**k you think I’m going to do, just f**king rollover and go back to sleep? I said what I said, Respect the fight and that’s it.”
“You know what’s sad in this,” says Howard Stern. “You two guys have more in common, his upbringing is completely f**ked up, your upbringing is f**ked up. You two guys, if you got in a room together, I’d say, listen you two, look at the similarities here, drop this f**king thing already. I mean I really, Maybe I’ll do that maybe I’ll get you, two guys, I’ll ambush you with Eminem and we’ll have a whole lovefest, gonna be a beautiful thing and I’ll put it on tv and make a lot of money.”
Earlier this year, Eminem released his new album ‘Music To Be Murdered By‘ where he raps that his MGK beef is over.
