Kanye West explains removing Soulja Boy from the final cut of “DONDA”.
Last night, Kanye West made a rare appearance in the latest episode of N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s “Drink Champs” podcast and it is being called the best interview this year. Among other things, Kanye West was also asked about Soulja Boy not making the final cut of the “DONDA” album.
“I’m not gonna argue with you ni**as about this at all,” said Kanye. “Soulja Boy is top 5 most [influential] as far as what we are today.” NORE then asked him why did he remove Soulja contribution from the album. “You ain’t hear that verse?” says Ye, seemingly insulting Soulja’s verse. “Nope, the verse wasn’t good?” asked N.O.R.E. “Nah, but I tell you what though…” responds Kanye.
When the DONDA album was released, Soulja Boy heavily criticized the GOOD Music boss after not making the final cut. He sends some shots at Ye through a rant with a series of tweets. Recently, Big Draco also made fun of Kanye West’s new haircut.
Ye also discussed his feud with Drake, his marriage to Kim Kardashian, and more throughout the conversation. He also claimed that he texted Kim, Drake, JAY-Z, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott, and others, informing them that he is wealthier than all of them together.
