Daz Dillinger talks reason behind Snoop Dogg’s spite towards Eminem.
Rapper Daz Dillinger, who’s also the cousin of Snoop Dogg, recently took part in a conversation with Royce da 5’9″, Joe Budden, NORE, and more. On the show where they talk about the Snoop Dogg and Eminem feud, Daz shares a story, which might be the probable reason behind Snoop Dogg’s hatred towards Eminem.
Daz Dillinger was in the duo Tha Dogg Pound with rapper Kurupt, and he is also Snoop’s cousin, so he has some old stories to tell. Daz said that Snoop had been uneasy with Eminem for a long time and that it was all about being rejected as a creative partner during his lengthy talk with Royce da 5’9”, Joe Budden, Noreaga, and others.
Daz says, “Back in the days, they did that [Bitch Please] song with Nate Dogg. And then Eminem did that on his album. When I was talking to Snoop one time, he said that he asked Eminem and them to get on his song, to get on his album and they told him ‘No’. And Snoop felt like, “I did all this and all that, and they tell me no? Nobody tells me no.”
He continues, “But Eminem probably even didn’t know that Snoop asked to do a song. That was probably Paul Rosenberg or somebody saying “No!” He probably even didn’t get to Eminem that Snoop wanted to do a song with him. But Snoop took it personally. That’s why you’ve never heard a song from Snoop and Eminem since then.”
It makes sense somehow. To feel dismissed and not appreciated, not being recognized as a rapper with whom Eminem can go in the booth together can hurt. And without discussing this situation, the wound could fester, resulting in this bad blood between two rappers. The bad blood brought them on the brink of a serious beef with shots exchange by Snoop in the interview and Eminem on M2BMB.
Eminem released “Bitch Please II” with Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg, and Xzibit in 2000. 20 years have passed since the event described by Daz. It is time to talk to each other. Because Eminem indeed sounds like he has absolutely no idea where Snoop’s animosity comes from.
