Conway The Machine felt bad about disrespecting Eminem fans on VladTV.
Griselda’s Conway The Machine recently teased a new freestyle where he raps over the instrumental of Kanye West’s track “Jail” off his latest album “Donda”. In the verse, the “La Maquina” rapper recalls his 2019 VladTV interview and regrets calling Eminem stans “nerds”. He also revealed that his relationship with Ye is better than with Eminem, but he’s still thankful to Shady Records boss.
“Would you love me if you knew the old me?” he raps. “Before the bag, before the rollie / Before I signed a deal with Shady with the rollie / Speaking of Shady, man, after my interview I did with Vlad I felt awful / But I learned you gotta watch what you say in interviews, it could cost you / One could say my relationship better with Ye than with Marshall, but I still ain’t got nothing bad to ever say about Marshall / Just keeping it funky, I’m thankful for Marshall.”

Conway The Machine signed to Eminem’s label in 2017, and he’s currently working on his upcoming album “God Don’t Make Mistakes”, after which he will leave Shady Records. In a recent interview, he revealed that he got no issue with Eminem helmed label. “There is no issues with Shady Records at all,” says Conway at the 14:15 mark. “I’m just thankful man, I’m blessed. I appreciate everybody over there at Shady Records. From the top on down, Eminem, Paul, Tracy, Mike H… the whole building. I’ve never had an issue and I have no issues now. If that’s where my journey in life takes me to doing more business with Shady then I’m with that too. After this album, my contractual obligations will be fulfilled and whatever comes after that I’m gonna accept it and be thankful.”
Riki P published the video on Instagram, claiming that Conway The Machine is releasing a new project before his Shady Records debut God Don’t Make Mistakes on February 25. “Early morning music session with @whoisconway was CRAZY!!!” he said. “The amount of new music he played was just ridiculous & sounded amazing! This freestyle on #Ye’s ‘Jail’ was on another level. He even wants to add another 20 bars like this wasn’t hard enough.”
