Cardi B and Joe Budden previously had little scuffles, but they still have good words for each other. During a recent episode of Joe Budden’s show, the rapper turned Podcast host praised the “WAP” hitmaker and called her superstar. “Cardi B is a superstar and you can’t argue that she is not,” he said.
The clip was then shared by a Cardi B fan page, which gets noticed by the rapper herself. She reposted the clip with an old picture of herself with Joe Budden during The Joe Budden Podcast days with co-host Rory Farrell. “I told y’all he always believed in me,” she wrote in the caption. “That’s why I always got love for him even when he gets me mad …That’s my mean uncle.”
On episode 451 of The Joe Budden Podcast last summer, Joe Budden discussed Cardi B’s highly anticipated sophomore album and predicted that the “Up” rapper would be done dropping albums. “Let me tell you, y’all are never getting a Cardi album again,” Budden said around the 6:10 minute-mark. “Let me tell y’all something. Cardi was broke, not real broke but her broke when that first album came and Offset was there. “Remember y’all audience was making it a big deal she was with Offset? Y’all did that. See, the audience is so phony and so f**king fickle, y’all said that. And now look. It’s Cardi, independent of her husband that she’s still there with.”
