Fresh off from the releases of his long-awaited project “ELE 2” which features appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Mariah Carey, Radsody & more, Busta Rhymes keeps his appearance coming to promote his album. For the 48-year-old MC, “Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God” has been a long time coming. Busta started working on the album in 2009, and it was released four years later. Busta Rhymes released three singles in 2014, including “Twerk It” with Nicki Minaj, “Thank You” with Q-Tip, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West, and “Calm Down” with Eminem, in addition to teasing the album in different interviews.

Busta Rhymes did a little quiz with NME where he talks about questions related to his own career to see how much Busta Remembers it and also revealed a story when the first time he heard Eminem.

Interviewer: You were nominated for Best Rap Solo Performance at the 2000 Grammys for ‘Gimme Some More’. Who beat you?

Busta Rhymes: Damn man! I can not remember, you might have to help me with that one!

Interviewer: You lost out to your friend Eminem’s ‘My Name Is’.

Busta Rhymes: Eminem is one of my favorite MCs ever. We have done multiple records together and even on his latest album, ‘Music to Be Murdered By’, the track ‘Yah Yah’ used my vocals from ‘Woo Hah!! Got You All In Check’. He is one incredible motherf**ker! Wyclef Jean was the first person to play ‘My Name Is’ to me, before it was even out. We were on tour together and he had a six-song EP from Eminem. When we played ‘My Name Is’, I could not believe it. I went so crazy on his bus that I shattered his windshield with my head! I could not believe the s**t that Eminem was saying and Dr. Dre’s production was unbelievable – at the time, nothing existed like it in the whole game.

We were on the Smokin’ Grooves tour in the back of one of the venues. Wyclef has this big-a** studio on his bus so we always wanted to go hang out and he was playing the Slim Shady LP. Before I could actually get on the bus, I was standing on the three little steps that you walk up to get on to the bus and I was nodding my head so f**king hard, going crazy, that I hit my head on the windshield and broke the whole f**kin’ windshield of Wyclef’s bus. It f**ked the whole glass up.
