50 Cent Says He'd Put Himself in Danger To Protect Eminem & Dr. Dre From Coronavirus

50 Cent answered 5 hard questions in Big Boy’s Gimme 5, had to choose Eminem or Dr. Dre.

50 Cent was essentially asked to choose between Eminem and Dr. Dre in a virtual interview with Big Boy, and he flatly rejected. It’s understandable, given how important both were to his success: Eminem discovered the Queens rapper and quickly signed him to Shady/Aftermath, and both Em and Dre produced his debut major-label album, Get Rich or Die Trying. 50 Cent recently took part in Big Boy’s Neighborhood’s Gimme 5 through a video call where Big Boy asked him, “There is one mask. Quarantine is going down. There are two people and you can only give one mask. You see Dr. Dre and you see Eminem. Who do you give that one mask to?

Big Boy put 50 Cent on the spot by asking him to vouch for only one of his hip-hop buddies. How could Eminem pick after he discovered and signed 50 Cent to Shady Records in 2002, and co-produced his first big label album with Dr. Dre?!

That’s a foul question.” said 50 Cent. “I would give Eminem the mask and I would give Dr. Dre my own mask. If I had a mask on, I would give him mine.

During the interview, Big Boy asked 50 Cent which artist he would not want to quarantine within his house. Despite having had many rivals in the music industry, 50 Cent’s answer was unexpected and based on practicality. 50 Cent replied, “Probably Roddy Ricch,” 50 said. “He’s poppin’, there’s too many kids around, too many different germs and h-t. ” Despite not choosing Ja Rule, 50 Cent has been actively reigniting their longstanding feud through social media, though it seems unlikely that they will have an Instagram Live battle in the near future.

The friendship of 50 Cent and Eminem is still going strong. Eminem refused to perform at Superbowl if 50 wasn’t included into Superbowl Halftime show.

According to N.O.R.E, Eminem stated that he would not have done the performance if his long-time pal Fiddy wasn’t present. N.O.R.E sat down with Snoop to discuss the famous halftime show on the Drink Champs podcast on April 16th. N.O.R.E. described a chat he had with Jay-Z regarding the show, saying, “I told Jay-Z that I had to raise this question directly. ‘”I said to Jay-Z, I have to ask this straight up. ‘Who is gonna perform at the NFL?'”

Jay-Z allegedly replied: “The white guy called for 50 Cent.” N.O.R.E then questioned: “Who is the white guy? [Beats co-founder and Interscope Records founder] Jimmy Iovine?” Jay-Z is said to have replied: “No, Eminem called directly for 50 and he said ‘I can’t do it if I can’t bring 50 with me’.”

Then Big Boy jokes about 50 Cent giving Eminem a new mask and Dr. Dre a used mask.

Because of the way you sequenced it,” 50 Cent says when Big Boy questions why Dre gets the “used” mask. “You just gave me one mask to give my two best friends.

Big Boy also questioned 50 Cent who artists he wouldn’t let quarantine with him at his house. Given all of 50’s opponents, the question could have been a layup, but his response was unexpected but sensible. “Probably Roddy Ricch,” 50 said. “He’s poppin’, there’s too many kids around, too many different germs and sh*t.

Despite the fact that he didn’t choose Ja Rule, 50 has spent the last few weeks fueling the fires of his most famous rivalry. The two have been teasing each other about a possible Instagram Live combat, but based on recent events, it doesn’t look like it’ll happen anytime soon.

A few days ago, 50 Cent gave a shout-out to Eminem for his appearance in the XXL Magazine edition. Eminem is featured in the most recent issue of XXL Magazine, a well-known publication that is commemorating its 25th birthday. The infrequently interviewed Detroit rapper took some time to reflect on his journey, share lessons gained, discuss how he remains inspired, and more.

Additionally, 50 Cent showed some love for his longtime friend and partner on the cover of the magazine. He wrote, “This is my favorite white boy; II swear to God I love him to death,” he wrote.

Check out the entire interview above, as well as the 2:40 point for a hilarious moment. 50 also discloses which artist he would never let inside his home during quarantine, and his response will likely surprise you.
