Eminem texted back 50 Cent after his video message with Drew Barrymore.
Last week, 50 Cent made a visit to Drew Barrymore’s talk show where they talked about his new Starz show Black Mafia Family. As revealed previously, Eminem will also play a role on the show for a one-episode cameo. Drew Barrymore asked 50 Cent about Eminem’s role, along with the random texts the Detroit Rapper sends to him. “I heard he just text you random texts throughout the day. Can I ask what a saId ‘random Marshall Mathers text’ is?” asks Drew.
After that, Drew Barrymore asked 50 Cent if they can send Eminem a message right now, to which they end up recording a short video for him. “Hi, Marshall. We just felt compelled to text you. Here’s everyone. Saying Hello, And because we found out you texting Curtis random messages, we thought we would send you one.” says Drew. Then 50 Cent continues “Yeah, we are on live TV. This big dog status stuff going on here. And look, I’m sending you videos of really hot, attractive women in them. You need to send me something back. I’d like to see a video in return.” Drew concludes, “That’s right, absolutely. Oh my god, we love you! Bye!”
Now the POWER mogul took to his social media to reveal Eminem’s response to the video message. “@eminem text me and was like hey i know i’m late to the party. I just saw the @DrewBarrymore show Bro you are crazy, only you would do something like that. LOL,” he wrote.
Fif has already talked about the sporadic texts that Em sends him. The Queens rapper described the strange notes Mathers occasionally sends him back in September. “To this day, you know what’s ill about Em, he hits me randomly. He texted me and he was like, ‘When you gone fly me a private so I can land on that d**k?’” 50 said, referencing a lyric in his guest verse on Pop Smoke’s “The Woo.”
