50 Cent implies that JAY-Z earned Grammy success because of Beyonce.
50 Cent continues his differences with JAY-Z as he again made some more comments on Hov and Beyonce. Fif recently sat down with XXL for a new interview as part of his “Get Rich or Die Tryin” 20th-anniversary celebration, where he claimed that JAY-Z earned most of his Grammy awards because he married to Beyonce.
“The same concept with the Super Bowl. See, they don’t understand the relationship. They were trying to get [Eminem] to do the Super Bowl without me. It wasn’t happening,” 50 said about his appearance at the Super Bowl halftime show last year in 2022.
He continued, “It’s okay for the award shows not to give me the trophies. Even JAY-Z’s career, you can look at that and say the association to Beyonce is when he started to received the 16, 17 Grammys, since he’s been with Beyonce. And you go, prior to that… [he had] one. That came with the association.

“You see [Jay-Z and Beyonce’s] kids already have Grammys. They don’t sing yet. They don’t sing. They don’t rap yet. And, they already have Grammys and sh-t. So, they say, ‘Give them this trophy so we can secure that they’re coming… to the awards show.’” “It meant that much to the culture they just gave them the things,” he added.
Previously, Fif stated that Hov didn’t want him at the Super Bowl halftime show 2022. “I got the call before the [Pepsi] ad went up,” he said. “I wasn’t in the ad because of—Jay-Z and them was putting it together. So, I think they still harbor some energy towards me.”
The rapper was then asked if his exclusion from the ad was intentional. “No. I think that they—they were saying that the NFL had some issues with me. I don’t know what those issues are,” responds 50. “What is the issue? You see what I’m sayin’?”
“That’s your big homie,” said Fif. He then remarked about Hov seemingly mirroring the looks of Jean-Michel Basquiat. “You image yourself after a gay painter. Big homie wanna look like a g-y painter.”
