50 Cent agreed to a VERZUZ battle with The Game.
50 Cent recently sat down with Big Boy’s Neighborhood for an interview with Big Boy on Real 92.3. On the show, he responded to Wack 100, who asked 50 Cent to go one on one with The Game on the viral VERZUZ Battle, which is created by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland.
“If you think about, from my time period, there is nothing that can match that run,” says Fifty. “You know what? Look. Okay, The Game can not play no records with my voice on it. He got some hits. It would be interesting.”
He continues, “As much as we argued and fought in the early stages, I would rather see him benefit from the momentum than someone else. He was still part of G-Unit and is gonna be a part of the legacy, overall. Even if you just wanna concentrate on the breakup.”
Despite their past feuds, 50 Cent and The Game have been on relatively good terms in recent years after settling their dispute in 2016. The potential of The Game and 50 Cent facing off in a Verzuz match arose after Game’s manager, Wack 100, posted on Instagram that he was attempting to persuade 50 to play the match. The Game, for one, claimed that he had prepared the 25 songs he’d perform in a Verzuz duel versus 50, claiming that Fif would be the sole opponent.
