Kendrick Lamar makes acting debut on 50 Cent’s show ‘POWER’.
After an announcement last week, Kendrick Lamar made his acting debut with a guest appearance on 50 Cent’s hit TV Show POWER. He appeared on episode 5 which is titled ‘Happy Birthday‘ & aired earlier tonight.
In the show, K. Dot plays a homeless drug addict named Laces who attempts to sell some gift cards to Kanan (50 Cent). He also appeared in another scene where 50 Cent shot down the man while riding a bicycle.
Lamar seemed dedicated to the job in moments alongside 50 Cent’s character Kanan, his hair wild, clothing dishevelled, and full of visual tics. Laces, his persona, was as lovable as it was emotionally unstable, just like Lamar’s most soul-searching songs. It wasn’t a huge shift for an artist whose musical vision has always been epic in scale, and it was billed as Lamar’s written TV acting debut by Starz.
