Westside Boogie releases a new song “Float” with Mamii.
After treating fans with a lot of short freebies in the past few months, Westside Boogie is finally in album mode as he releases a new single called “Float”. The song features assistance from Mamii. Westside Boogie had working on his new Shady Records album, and in April he revealed that Eminem gave him a green signal for the project.
We’re looking at some ambient and borderline aquatic production for the occasion, as predicted given the title “Float.” It’s just the kind of setting for the contemplative songwriter to flourish, and Boogie continues to provide the slice-of-life realism that we’ve come to expect from him. It’s unknown whether or not this track will appear on the album, but it’s apparent that the newly dubbed Westside Boogie is gearing up for his big debut.
Last week, the label boss Eminem teased a collaboration between Westside Boogie and the newest Shady Record signee GRIP.
