Jay Rock shares new freestyle “Ambition”.
Jay Rock is back with more new freebies as he now drops a short freestyle titled “Ambition”. The one-and-a-half-minute freestyle was released with an accompanying music video.
“I ain’t begging for bread, still I rise like yeast / Every day is a song, I live my life on the beat / And when I sit at the table there’s no surprises, a feast / No myth, no fable, witness the rise of a beast / Gotta live it up, you only get one / Nothing’s impossible, I’m grinding ’til the mission is done,” he raps.
This follows up Rock’s previous two offerings “Too Fast (Pull Over)” with Anderson .Paak & Latto and “Eastside” with Kal Banx.
The TDE rapper is currently prepping his next new album “Eastside Johnny”. It’s been five years since Jay Rock released an album, as he last dropped “Redemption” in 2018, which was his third studio effort.
Rock’s previous album was released in June 2018, with guest appearances from J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Jeremih, and SZA. Production on the album comes from Mike WiLL Made-It, Hit-Boy, Boi-1da, Jake One, and more.
