Doja Cat unleashes another new offering “Demons”.
Doja Cat continues putting out new music as she now drops her brand new single titled “Demons”. The song is produced by d.a. got that dope, and it arrived with an accompanying visual with direction from Christian Breslauer & Doja Cat herself.
“Lots of people that were sleeping say I rap now / Lots of people’s hopes and dreams are finally trashed now / Lots of people say they met me in the past now / I done took the spotlight and made ’em black out,” she raps.
The track follows up her previous offerings “Attention” and “Paint The Town Red“. Attention peaked at number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100, while Paint The Town Red reached the top five on the charts. Earlier this week, Doja announced her new album “Scarlet” which is slated to drop on September 22.
Doja Cat last put out an album was in 2021, when she released “Planet Her”, which peaked at #2 on Billboard 200. Planet Her featured guest appearances from The Weeknd, Young Thug, Ariana Grande, JID and SZA, with a deluxe edition featuring Eve and Gunna. The album was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. The project sold 1.5 million units in 2021 and was ranked the biggest R&B album of the year and sixth best-selling overall.
