Cordae shares the new “The Water” freestyle.
Just recently, Cordae teamed up with Machine Gun Kelly for a freestyle over Central Cee’s hit “Doja“. The rapper now decided to drop something solo as he shares another new freestyle called “The Water”, which arrived with a music video.
“I ain’t tryna be fifty and full of regrets, swim in a pool of success / Drowning in tears, facing my fears, still wonder what’s next / Image I gotta protect, Puma gon’ send me the check / How much a dollar cost if you gotta trade in your respect?” he raps.
This year, Cordae previously linked up with Anderson .Paak for the music video “Two Tens“, which was produced by J. Cole. He also assisted NF on the song called “Careful” which appeared on the album HOPE.
In 2022, Cordae released his second studio album “From a Birds Eye View.” The project featured guest appearances from Gunna, Lil Wayne, H.E.R., Lil Durk, Freddie Gibbs, Stevie Wonder, Eminem, and Roddy Ricch. “I’m like a hundred songs deep in,” he said in 2020. “Like this next one, I’m really taking everything to a whole ‘nother level. I really love doing music and perfecting my craft and I’m getting better every day. And the new music from here on out is going to show that.”
