Wale drops a new song “Angles” with Chris Brown.
After assisting Earthgang on the video for “Options” Remix with Coi Leray, Wale makes his return to the music scene with some of his own new material. Wale teams up with hitmaker Chris Brown for a brand new song called “Angles“. The song features production from Hitmaka and OG Parker.
Wale creates witty rhymes on his feelings for his leading woman, some of them are lighthearted while others are sad. C. Breezy nails the hook on a song that will undoubtedly be added to romance-themed playlists. Wale teased his Instagram fans with a little video.
Wale announced on his social media sites that the song will be released at night.OG Parker, one of the song’s key producers, stated that the song was inspired by the hip hop single “I Need a Girl”: “Wale produces amazing poetry about his affections for his leading woman, some of which are light-hearted and others which are tragic.”

Angles, a “sunny, amorous rap hit,” according to a press release. The track was created by OG Parker, who took inspiration from Diddy, Loon, and Usher’s legendary Hip Hop smash “I Need a Girl.” Wale creates brilliant poems about his feelings for his leading lady, some of which are light-hearted and others which are sadder. On a tune that will undoubtedly be soon added to romance-themed playlists, C. Breezy holds down the hook.
Wale’s latest single, “Good Vibes (Za),” was released five months ago. Last year, the DMV rapper released a flurry of singles as well as his Imperfect Storm EP. Wale has jumped on a few pals’ tracks this year, notably Pacman da Gunman’s “One Piece” and EarthGang’s “Options” remix with Coi Leray, however, he hasn’t released much solo work. Chris Brown has also participated in a few features, including Yung Bleu’s single “Baddest” with 2 Chainz and OG Parker’s debut song “Rain Down” featuring Latto, PnB Rock, and Layton Greene, as well as Yung Bleu’s track “Baddest” featuring 2 Chainz.

Daniel CZ directed the accompanying music video, which was released on June 22, 2021. Wale “showers his wife with blue and white flowers before bringing her out for a romantic supper,” according to the video. Following that, Brown and Wale “play the feel-good music” in between scenes near a pool.
Chris Brown has also recently appeared on a few tracks, including OG Parker’s ‘Rain Down,’ which he co-wrote with Latto, PnB Rock, and Layton Greene, and Yung Bleu’s freshly released tune ‘Baddest,’ which he co-wrote with rapper 2 Chainz.
Recently, Wale also dropped a freestyle over Migos’ “Straightenin” instrumental.
