Tory Lanez & DaBaby drops a new song “SKAT”.
The Tory Lanez and DaBaby collaboration called “SKAT” is finally here. Back in January, the track was originally announced, around the controversy of Tory Lanez shooting Megan Thee Stallion. DaBaby, who is a frequent collaborator with Megan, received backlash over teaming up with Tory Lanez for the song. “Nice try,” Stallion cryptically tweeted, to which a fan says, “f**k dababy all 2021.” Then Megan responded to it and called the collaboration old, “That s**t was old and not cleared.”
The song has been in the works for a long, and Tory even revealed it in January, but it has received a lot of backlash online due to Tory’s recent arrest for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot. Megan had addressed the announcement after some fans inquired about DaBaby’s collaboration with Tory despite the fact that the Cleveland rapper and Megan are good friends.
Megan and DaBaby appeared to be great friends until the Charlotte native’s cooperation with Tory Lanez revealed, according to reports. Fans made assumptions about Megan and DaBaby’s friendship, and now it appears that the powerful rap duo is no longer together.
Now the song is cleared and officially released on all platforms. Tory Lanez also announced that the official video for the song is also on the way. This follows up his latest R&B project “Playboy“.
“Fifty thousand dollars on my jack, goin’ stupid / Back outside, every time, it’s a new fit / Ni**as love to lie, gotta tell ’em what the truth is,” Tory raps over the victorious rhythm, followed by a furious verse from DaBaby.
UPDATE: Added the official video, directed by Christian Breslauer.
