Tory Lanez drops new song “Shot Clock Violations”.
Today is the big day for hip-hop fans as Kendrick Lamar finally released his first album in 5 years titled “Mr Morale & The Big Steppers“. There are only a few artists who are dropping new music on the same day as K. Dot, and Tory Lanez is one of them.
The Canadian artist continues his Fargo Friday series with a brand new track called “Shot Clock Violations”. This follows up his last week freestyle over BIA & J. Cole’s “London“.
“Life is all a gamble and you gotta thous’ down / Win a couple games now and you the man around town / Now you f**kin’ pretty brown round from the litty town / They hopin’ that’ll last forever, they don’t ever forget you now,” he raps.
Tory Lanez revealed that an actual radio song will be released this month after releasing a series of freestyles. “I’m going to release my actual single this month,” he tweeted on Monday. “Like the one for radio and all that s### .”
While flying out of Las Vegas airport earlier this month, the Toronto rapper ran afoul of the police. Authorities detained Tory Lanez as he attempted to board an aircraft, according to TMZ. He was arrested after a “significant” amount of cannabis was discovered in his suitcase. TSA ultimately freed the artist, allowing him to go to the next point on his itinerary.
