Offset and Hit-Boy join forces on “2 Live”.
Offset returns to the music scene as he teams up with Hit-Boy for a brand new single titled “2 Live”. This follows up Offset’s previous release “Code” with Moneybagg Yo which dropped back in August. The Migos rapper was supposed to drop his new album in November, but it is pushed back after the death of Takeoff.
“You know I’m a player, once I hit her, then I’m ghostin’ (Ghost) / Knew she was a freak, she had a tongue and a nose ring (Grra) / Once I like her vibe, I knock her down like I went bowlin’ (Knock her) / Pourin’ up Patrón on the ice, she like cold tings,” he raps.
The announcement of the collaboration comes shortly after Hit-Boy announced that he has a joint album with Musiq Soulchild in the works, which will be released under the title “Victims & Villains”. “[It] is designed to address the topic of the challenges we all deal with in relationships, but I’m approaching it from a slightly different angle than I used to. It’s more abstract, at the same time direct.”
