DaBaby drops a new song “Giving What It’s Supposed To Give”.
After giving us “Red Light Green Light” last month, DaBaby continues dropping new material as he releases a brand new single called “Giving What It’s Supposed To Give“. The new song comes along with a wild self-directed music video that was filmed before his Rolling Loud performance this past weekend. The visual ends with a rainbow-colored message, “Don’t Fight Hate with Hate, My apologies for being me the same way you want the freedom to be you.”
DaBaby looks to be on the latter end of the scale because after being publically chastised, boycotted, and reprimanded for making rude and homophobic comments at Rolling Loud for 72 hours, the BLAME IT ON BABY has not shied away from the limelight. DaBaby has released a new song and music video titled “Giving What It’s Supposed To Give,” and throughout it, he reiterates all of the insulting sentiments for which he is currently being “cancelled.”
Recently, DaBaby caught in some controversy after a homophobic rant at the Rolling Loud Miami performance. “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly se*ually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up. Ladies, if your p***y smell like water, put your cellphone lighter up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d**k in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up,” DaBaby said at the festival. After that, the Cleveland rapper received a lot of flak, which he addressed in his recent tweet.
Anybody who done ever been effected by AIDS/HIV y’all got the right to be upset, what I said was insensitive even though I have no intentions on offending anybody. So my apologies 🙏🏾
But the LGBT community… I ain’t trippin on y’all, do you. y’all business is y’all business.
