Future drops “Life is Good” remix with DaBaby, Lil Baby & Drake.
Future continues releasing new material as he teams up with DaBaby and Lil Baby for the official remix of his new single called “Life is Good”. The original version features assistance from Drake.
The original “Life Is Good” has been certified platinum and is presently at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Drake and Future also released their song “Desires” last month, which might appear on the long-awaited follow-up to their 2015 collaboration What a Time to Be Alive.
Future substitutes Drake’s verse on the remix by going over his section of the song. He expresses his emotions regarding love and family while mixing in his trademark Pluto boasts. He even responds to Drake’s “I haven’t done my taxes, I’m too turned up” lyric by saying, “After I pay my taxes, I go Richard Mille/In another tax bracket, you ni**as beneath me.”
The beat switches for DaBaby and Lil Baby, and the duo jump on the track and serve up some impressive rhymes. DaBaby drops bars about his legal troubles and living the good life, while Lil Baby offers up some slick wordplays.
DaBaby, on the other hand, collaborated with Camila Cabello earlier this week to release their “My Oh My” music video. Meanwhile, Lil Baby recently collaborated with Flipp Dinero on “How I Move.”
Future and Drake reunited for the first time since June 2018’s “Blue Tint.” They previously collaborated on the album What a Time to Be Alive in 2015, as well as on the song “Used to This” in 2017.
Future and Young Thug said last year that they are working on a follow-up to their 2017 collaboration Super Slimey, and that they have enlisted Lil Baby and Gunna for the project. Thugger revealed why they’re working with their younger peers in an interview with Rolling Stone.
