Blueface drops a new song called ‘Obama’ with DaBaby.
After giving us a freebie ‘Finesse The Beat‘ in December, Blueface returns with some new material as he teams up with DaBaby for the track called ‘Obama‘. In the video, the duo takes over the White House after an Obama impersonator hands them the keys to the White House. The 16-track album includes previously released songs like “First Class” with Gunna and “Close Up” with Jeremih. Blueface is known for his off-beat raps, so the title “Find the Beat” is a play on words.
Despite the fact that the song is titled after Barack Obama, it has little to do with him and is more of a vague concept for the hook. “Pull up like Trump, and they duck like Donald/Presidential on me like Obama,” he says. Both Blueface and DaBaby had breakout successes last year, so it was just a matter of time until they collaborated. Find the Beat was supposed to be released in early December, however it has been postponed indefinitely due to previous delays.
Other guests on the album include Lil Baby on “Weekend” and Stunna 4 Vegas on “Wire.” The album was supposed to be released in December 2019, but it was pushed back to January before finally being released in March.
