From the project, Big Sean drops off the official collaboration with the late Nipsey Hussle, the music titled “Deep Reverence”. Big Sean dropped a slew of tracks leading up to the announcement of ‘Detroit 2’ last year, including ‘Overtime,’ ‘Single Again,’ and the ASAP Ferg-assisted ‘Bezerk.’
The rapper’s most recent studio album, ‘I Decided,’ was released in 2017, the same year he collaborated with Metro Boomin on the ‘Double or Nothing’ project. Hussle was tragically shot outside his Marathon clothes store on Crenshaw Boulevard in Los Angeles last year and died in March 2019. Ava DuVernay’s documentary on the late rapper is due to premiere on Netflix.
Snoop Dogg paid homage to Hussle earlier this month with his song “Nipsey Blue,” which was released the day before the rapper’s 35th birthday.
