Ne-Yo drops the new song “Stay Down” with Yung bleu.
Ne-Yo hasn’t been active in the music scene but it changes now as he decided to release his brand new single called “Stay Down”. For the single, he taps assistance from Alabama native Yung Bleu, who recently dropped the “Beautiful Lies” visual with Kehlani.
“Bet I jump first if you ever say jump / Bet I got yo back so much, I’m in the front / Long as you shotgun, pistol grip pump / That mean let me tell you Imma stay down,” raps Ne-Yo.
Earlier this year, Ne-Yo dropped the deluxe edition of his debut album “In My Own Words” to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the project.
In My Own Words (Deluxe), which Ne-Yo released in March, featured a number of extra bonus tracks, including the previously retail-exclusive song “Girlfriend,” the Rick Ross-featuring “Stay (Remix),” two live acoustic renditions of the hit singles “So Sick” and “Sexy Love,” and two instrumentals (“So Sick” and “When You’re Mad”).
Ne-Yo released his “U 2 Luv” song a few months ago, and then quickly followed it up with a remix featuring Lil Durk and Queen Naija. His latest new body of work was launched in 2019, when he released the album Another Kind of Christmas, which provided some early holiday pleasure. Good Man, released in 2018, featured the songs “Good Man” and “Push Back.” He also collaborated with Jamaican dancehall musician Charly Black on the charity tune “Over Again” last year.
